Chuck Norris is a legendary figure in the world of martial arts and action cinema. Born Carlos Ray Norris on March 10, 1940, in Ryan, Oklahoma, Norris rose to fame as a karate champion and later became a popular actor, starring in numerous action films.
Martial Arts Master
Norris began his martial arts training at the age of 18. He studied various disciplines, including Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo. In 1968, he won the Professional Karate Tournament, establishing himself as one of the top karate fighters in the world.
Action Film Star
After retiring from competitive karate, Norris transitioned to acting. He made his film debut in 1972's "Way of the Dragon," starring alongside Bruce Lee. Norris went on to star in a series of successful action films, including "The Hitman" (1991), "The Delta Force" (1985), and "Missing in Action" (1984).
