A 21-year-old man who died after being stabbed at Notting Hill Carnival has been named as rapper Takayo Nembhard. The Metropolitan Police said that Nembhard, who performed under the name TKorStretch, was fatally stabbed in Ladbroke Grove during the west London festival on Monday, August 29.
Friends and family have paid tribute to Nembhard, who was also a former footballer. His sister Desiree Nembhard said he was "the most caring person" and "the most loving brother". She added: "He had a heart of gold and his smile was one of the greatest." He leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
