Paralympics: Palestine athletes want to be "free to fly": Aldeeb

Athletes from Palestine are hoping to make a strong showing at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, despite the challenges they face.

The Palestinian Paralympic Committee (PPC) has been working hard to support its athletes in the lead-up to the Games, but they have faced many obstacles, including a lack of funding and a lack of access to training facilities.

Despite these challenges, the PPC is determined to ensure that the Palestinian athletes are able to compete at the highest level.

One of the athletes who is hoping to make a name for herself in Tokyo is swimmer Hadeel Aldeeb.

Aldeeb was born with cerebral palsy, but she has never let that stop her from pursuing her dreams of becoming a successful swimmer.

She began swimming at the age of eight, and she has since gone on to win numerous medals in international competitions.

Aldeeb is hoping to use the Paralympic Games as a platform to show the world what people with disabilities are capable of.

"I want to show the world that people with disabilities can do anything they set their minds to," she said.

"I want to be free to fly, and I want to inspire other people with disabilities to do the same."

The Paralympic Games will be held in Tokyo from August 24th to September 5th, 2020.

The Games will feature more than 4,000 athletes from over 160 countries.

The Paralympic Games are a celebration of the human spirit and a testament to the power of sport.
